San Diego’s cannabis community showed up and showed out at “420 @ the Garden,” a first-of-its-kind event held at the Mount Hope Community Garden. Co-sponsored by March and Ash (MarchandAsh.com), this celebration blended Easter fun with 420 joy in a way only this city could pull off. Picture this: a laid-back crowd, DJ sets, a blooming community garden, and a one-of-a-kind Easter egg hunt—where the prizes weren’t candy, but cannabis.

From Sonoma Hills Farm flower to Kushy Punch edibles and Heavy Hitters gummies, guests were hyped about the high-quality products they discovered in their eggs. Shout out to March and Ash for stocking the hunt with favorites that flew off the tables and sparked some great conversations.

Beyond the product buzz, the event was about community connection. Attendees talked wellness, social equity, and what cannabis means to them today. From long-time advocates to first-time celebrators, the vibe was inclusive, inspiring, and downright elevated.

For cannabis lovers who care about community and quality, this was the place to be. Here’s hoping it becomes a new tradition in Southeast San Diego.
