When Dan Bakkedahl told his comedy friends he was making Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, they laughed. Then the real world caught up with the movie, and suddenly it didn't seem so silly anymore. In this episode, Dan explains why a film about killer tomatoes may be more timely than anyone expected.
Dan takes us back to the first time he saw the original film, in a way only a true fan could, and shares what it was like to step into a role first played by co-creator Steve Peace in 1978. He also opens up about trading Hollywood trailers for an indie set where the dressing rooms were little more than a curtain, and about learning improv in Chicago alongside a generation of future comedy stars.
Noor finally gets Dan to reveal the joke he almost made about her on set, and when Chris challenges him to a round of "Rename the Movie," Dan sends the tomatoes to the one place everyone dreads visiting.
