This new episode of Dear San Diego was a lot of fun to record. The conversation was easy and hilarious at times, and we learned some interesting things about our guest, Chad Peace. Chad, for example, has never seen the movie Love Actually (!?) even though the best love story in Love Actually – the one between Jamie and Aurelia – is similar to the story Chad tells about how he met and fell in love with his wife, Arieli.

Chad is the CEO of IVC Media, LLC. A licensed attorney, Chad never expected to lead a binational digital communications company that serves an impressive list of clients with dozens of designers, project managers, and others from offices in Mission Valley and Tijuana. Politically, Chad has sort of cornered the market when it comes to talking to independent or NPP (No Party Preference) voters, but he and his team do so much more for a wide variety of businesses, nonprofits, government agencies and others.

Tony and Juan unpack all that and they learn a lot of cool things along the way, like what full stack digital means, and why Chad drives an electric car no one other than a guy in Orange County can repair, and the guy in Orange County is out of the repair game too, we hear.

Tony and Juan also talk to Chad about his lovely wife and kids and his parents and brothers and what it was like to grow up in a household where success was on display all the time. Chad says the dinner conversations were not for the faint-hearted, but that the arguments never spilled over beyond the dinner table.
